in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department License: Active
state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS,
PALS required; TNCC, CPI preferred Must-Have: Prior experience in
an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department Willingness to work
every other weekend Ability to float as needed Description: The
position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The nurse
will provide care for patients with various emergency conditions.
The nurse will need to manage patient ratios of 1:4. Experience in
a teaching hospital is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted
for this position. Floating to other units may be required. Weekend
shifts are required every other weekend. The ideal candidate will
possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in
a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience in
trauma care, including managing various emergencies. Strongly
preferred skills include CPI and TNCC certifications. This role
involves working with patients across all age groups, including
neonates, adults, and geriatrics. The nurse will encounter diverse
patient diagnoses and coordinate with interdisciplinary support
services as needed. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is
