ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Janesville, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend and holiday schedule required • Must have current Wisconsin nursing license • CPR/BLS certification required • Flu vaccination required • May be required to float to other units as needed • Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved protocols • Document care according to standards of care • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across units • Apply critical thinking for patient safety and experience with appropriate escalation protocols • Provide patient and family education as part of comprehensive care Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a full-service hospital and trauma center providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
