registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A reputable healthcare facility in Des Plaines, IL,
is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a
contract basis. This role provides an excellent opportunity for
experienced OR nurses to apply their expertise in a fast-paced,
Level 1 Trauma Center environment with a variety of surgical
specialties. Responsibilities include: Performing strong scrub and
circulate duties in the operating room. Participating as a
mandatory float resource within the facility to cover various units
as needed. Working primarily day shifts on a 5x8-hour schedule from
10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Fulfilling one 12-hour weekend call shift
monthly, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Committing to weekend
coverage every other weekend (two weekends per month). Adhering to
strict return-to-work policies around holidays and weekends.
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent
acute care experience in the Operating Room. Previous Level 1
Trauma Center experience. Proficient in orthopedic, orthopedic
trauma, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases. Preferred
experience includes neurosurgery (cranial and spine), open
heart/thoracic, ophthalmology, ENT, bariatrics, and gynecology. BLS
certification required. Ability to float within the scope of
practice as required by the facility. Candidates living within 75
miles of the location are preferred; locals encouraged to apply.
Must hold an active RN license; pending licenses are not accepted.
