Sterile Processing Tech Location: Elmhurst, IL Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,100 to $1,150 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Sterile Processing Production Coordinator / Sterile Processing Coordinator Location: Elmhurst, Illinois Production Coordinator: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Coordinator: 3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Requirements Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the processing of surgical instruments and supplies. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA, AAMI, and infection control standards. Supervise and support SPD staff in daily tasks and workflow. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and prevent stock shortages. Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for sterilization and disinfection processes. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure instruments are ready and available for procedures. Participate in quality improvement and staff education initiatives. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred. Certification (CSPDT or equivalent) highly desirable. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift as required. Familiarity with hospital SPD standards and sterilization processes.
