work at 333 East Campus Mall in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based

Assistant to: /n /n - Perform standardized and specialized
phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages and ensure proper
patient identification and specimen labeling. /n - Complete
specimen receiving and processing, load them onto instruments or
perform the kit testing, and associated instrument maintenance
(temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing,
mailing, faxing). /n - Patient check-in and order entry of
laboratory tests in the laboratory information system. /n -
Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists,
clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients. /n /n At UW

Qualifications/n/n/n /n /n - High School Diploma or equivalent
Required /n - Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program
and clinical rotation. /n /n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - 6
months of Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Experience Required /n
- 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and processing Preferred /n /n
/n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n /n /n - Phlebotomist (American
Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred /n -
Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) certification (American Society
for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred /n /n /n/n/n Our
