GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel January Start Dates 13 weeks Aspirus at Home Description=Home Health RN-Aspirus Wausau At Home Contract: 13 weeks Start: ASAP Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week Primary Location: , Wausau-Home Health Shift requirement: 8 hours days. Roughly 8a-430p, but depending on census there may be flexibility to start and end times. Weekend/Holiday: Every 5th weekend and holiday rotation On-call: none Travel Requirements: 20-25 patients, 4.5 visits per day on average (may be less if a day of higher travel). It can vary from 25-60 miles per day depending on the territory, patient census, staff availability, ect. Try to keep it to a minimum as much as possible. Required Certifications: AHA BLS, Active WI or Compact license, Valid Driver's license, OASIS cert a PLUS. Minimum experience: 2 years home health experience, Prior travel experience REQUIRED. Float: potential to Medford, Antigo, WI Rapids . This would be limited as right now the highest need is in Wausau. Charting Experience: Oasis required. Epic preferred. Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Oasis admissions, all time points, episode management, dr calls and coordination of care, documentation in EMR timely, clinical competencies in wound, IV, ports, Lab draws, chronic disease management. Hard worker, Time management, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates, Dependable and Accountable, Compassionate, Positive Attitude Scrub Colors: navy blue Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay. GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
