Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) – PRN Coverage Warren Barr of Oak Lawn We are currently seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for PRN coverage at Warren Barr of Oak Lawn! As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will partner with patients throughout their journey to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function—helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life. You will deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum of prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation . Responsibilities Identify and address patients’ communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide effective, cost-conscious interventions to improve speech, language, voice, cognition, and dysphagia Implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to each patient’s needs Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support functional communication and safety Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care Motivate and support patients to maximize functional outcomes Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in the electronic medical record Skills & Qualifications Ability to work effectively with patients of varying diagnoses and personalities Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to best practices Desire for continuous learning and professional growth Professional, ethical, and compassionate approach to care Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Current, valid Speech-Language Pathology license Career Advantages Practice in an environment focused on integrity and high-quality, ethical care Competitive pay and flexible PRN scheduling Access to clinical support and professional development resources User-friendly electronic documentation system Collaborative, supportive team of therapists and nursing staff IND2
