Job Description Job Description Speech-Language Pathologist - Location: Early Childhood Center — Villa Park, IL 60181 - Assignment Length: Starting end of February - Schedule: 32.5 hours/week | 8:05 AM–3:15 PM daily - Setting: Onsite - Hourly Rate: $47.21–$56.81/hr About the Opportunity Early Childhood Center in Villa Park is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide leave coverage within a highly supportive team. The school is known for its welcoming environment, strong collaboration, and abundant materials for student support. Position Overview The SLP will provide services to a manageable Early Childhood caseload and support a team of five SLPs by covering one clinician’s leave. This is an ideal short-term opportunity for an SLP who loves working with young learners and thrives in collaborative, well-resourced settings. Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to Early Childhood students. Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development and progress updates. Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and the existing SLP team. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements. Utilize the school’s extensive Early Childhood resources to support student engagement and growth. Caseload & Work Environment Approximately 30 students on caseload. Students present with Early Childhood-level needs (mild–moderate range). Dedicated office space provided. Join a team of 5 SLPs — highly collaborative and supportive. Qualifications Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement. Active IDFPR SLP license. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience in Early Childhood settings preferred, but all strong school-based SLPs encouraged to apply. Why the Position Is Open This role is to cover an SLP’s leave. Why AnthroMed?
