Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day/Evening, 10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM. No call required. Highlights: High-volume OR specializing in orthopedic and general surgeries including sports medicine, total joint replacements, spine procedures, bariatric, and minimally invasive surgery 14-bed operating room supporting 45-50 daily census with state-of-the-art robotics including Da Vinci, Mazor, MAKO, and Cori surgical systems Epic charting system in use; orientation includes approximately 40 hours of comprehensive onboarding Collaborative environment working alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, pharmacy, sterile processing, and multidisciplinary support teams Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or call; free parking provided onsite Join a leading healthcare organization recognized as the top hospital system in Wisconsin Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at time of application) Minimum of two years acute care OR experience within the last three years required Ortho experience strongly preferred BLS certification through American Heart Association only (required) ACLS certification preferred Epic charting system experience required Previous travel experience required Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from facility location Competency with advanced surgical equipment including cell saver, electrosurgical units, robotic systems, and specialty orthopedic tables Strong clinical skills across general, orthopedic, spine, and bariatric surgical procedures Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in one of the most advanced hospital facilities in the country, where healthcare is approached as a holistic partnership with patients.
