Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuroscience Critical Care – Wisconsin
Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every
other weekend, some holidays may be required Highlights: 12-bed
neuroscience critical care unit supporting both IMC and ICU level
of care Care for adult patients with neurology, neurosurgical, and
stroke conditions including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes,
traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, cerebral aneurysm, and
neurovascular diseases Utilize critical thinking skills with
interventions including vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring,
feeding tubes, drains, and frequent assessments Work at a
Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsin's number one
hospital and recognized as one of the nation's leading teaching
institutions Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence with nationally
recognized neuroscience programs Requirements: Active Wisconsin
nursing license or compact license from permanent address state Two
years of acute care experience within the last three years required
ICU experience required; neurosurgery experience preferred Epic
charting experience required, preferably within the last 12 months
BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
Basic Arrhythmia experience required; must pass telemetry test
prior to start with strict passing criteria Permanent address must
be 50 miles or more from the work site Willingness to work with
both ICU and IMC patient populations Flu vaccination required
