Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to
join our team, wherein you'll play a pivotal role in providing
expert respiratory care services to our patients. This position
aligns with our mission to offer the highest standard of
rehabilitative care to our patients helping them regain
independence after serious illness or injury. Our ideal candidate
will have a solid foundation in respiratory therapies and a passion
for patient care, giving patients and their families the highest
quality of life. Assess patient health needs and implement
appropriate respiratory care plans. Perform diagnostic tests such
as measuring lung capacity. Treat patients using aerosol
medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilators.
Monitor and record the progress of treatment. Educate patients and
families about lung health and maintenance therapies. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to modify care plans based on patient
needs. Skilled in using respiratory equipment and tools such as
ventilators, monitors, and diagnostic software. Ability to assess
and interpret effective treatment plans. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively interact with patients and
healthcare teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory. Current
CPR/BLS certification. Licensed to practice in the state.
