Encompass Health's Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our team. This role is critical in developing personalized nutrition plans that cater to each patient's needs in their recovery process. Leveraging state-of-the-art technology and holistic care approaches, our dietitians are crucial in helping patients achieve their health goals during their rehabilitation. This position requires a professional who is skilled at assessing patient nutritional needs, educating patients and families on proper nutritional habits, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of the patient. Plan menus and diets for patients and oversee their implementation. Monitor patient feedings and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary plans. Prepare educational material and conduct workshops on various aspects of diet and nutrition. Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in dietary education and counseling. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified. Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) within the state.
