How you’ll make an impact in this role - Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure clinical objectives are achieved and high-quality, population-appropriate patient care is delivered. - Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff, independently planning shift activities and patient care services. - Assess daily patient needs, develop assignments, maintain productivity standards, and justify variances to the unit manager or designee. - Address patient care complaints through established channels while setting priorities based on daily patient and physician dynamics. - Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available and contribute to staff hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
