Details - Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Travel Nurse -
Location: Wausau, WI 54401 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs) - Employment
Type: Travel Nursing Assignment - Assignment Length: 13 weeks -
Healthcare Setting: Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) Unit – Adult
patients only - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Shift:
12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Weekend/Holiday: Every other
weekend and every other holiday - Start Date: October 13, 2025 -
End Date: January 10, 2026 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990 -
$2,130 USD Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Wisconsin RN
license (Registered Nurse) - BLS certification required - Minimum 2
years recent Med/Surg nursing experience; Trauma Level II
experience highly preferred - EPIC charting experience required -
Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; Bachelor's
Degree preferred - Ability to float to all inpatient units as
needed - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Wausau, WI Nursing
Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult
patients with diverse medical conditions: respiratory illnesses,
stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic
management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders,
infectious diseases, and acute alcohol withdrawal - Maintain
patient ratios of 1:6-7 during night shifts - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams and ancillary staff to ensure
optimal patient outcomes - Demonstrate resilience, adaptability,
and a positive attitude in a dynamic clinical environment - Float
to other inpatient units as needed - Complete documentation using
EPIC EMR system - Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as
