How you’ll make an impact in this role - Perform scrub functions, including the handling of instruments and supplies during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures. - Manage overall nursing care by monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions throughout cardiovascular procedures. - Assist physicians and anesthesia staff with intubation and the accessing and maintenance of lines. - Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms, surgical instruments, and necessary equipment for use. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - One or more of the following required: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
