About the Position Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician
is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical
instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety and infection
control. The role supports operating room and clinical departments
by maintaining sterile supplies. Job Description: Clean,
decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Inspect instruments for functionality and ensure proper assembly
Prepare and package instruments for sterilization Operate
sterilization equipment and monitor processes Maintain accurate
records of sterilization cycles Ensure compliance with infection
control and safety standards Support operating room and clinical
teams with instrument needs Requirements Requirements: Minimum 6–8
years of sterile processing experience in a similar setting
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment Certification
such as CRCST or CBSPD (preferred) Strong attention to detail and
organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced
