Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,188 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years Tele experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS NOT required Must-Have: Past history of caring for surgical patients, assessment skills, tube feeds, NG tube insertion, blood product administration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with titratable drips preferred. Description: This is a Level III Trauma Center with a Magnet designation. The unit consists of 26 beds. Patient types include adult medical and tele patients, as well as patients undergoing live and kidney transplants. Patient ratios for RN are 1:3-5 during the day and 1:5-7 at night. Patient ratios for CNA are 1:5-7 during the day and 1:6-8 at night. There is support within the department from a Charge RN with a reduced patient load. Unit leadership is present Monday through Friday. An ICU trained Resource RN is available 24/7. CNA and phlebotomy support is provided 24/7. Centralized tele monitoring with tele techs is available. Technology includes EMR: EPIC, IV Pump: Alaris, Med dispensing: Pyxis, and GE Monitors. Travelers may float within their scope of practice, with priority given to first floating. Weekend rotation consists of 24 hours of weekend shifts per 6 weeks. Holiday expectations may vary, and up to 7 days of time-off requests can be approved. Shift times are 0700-1900 and 1900-0700, with a schedule cycle of 6-week increments. Scrub color requirement is any solid color. Pain levels must be documented before and after administering pain medications. The RN must ensure the pain score aligns with the medication order.
