Madison offers scenic lakes, a welcoming community, and a thriving arts and culture scene—making it a great place for travel healthcare professionals to live and work. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,010 – $1,090/n - Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) – rehab hospital / skilled nursing environment/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00pm – 6:30am)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Start Date: April 6, 2026/n - Completion Bonus: $1,000 for completing the full contract with satisfactory attendance/n - Location: Madison, WI 53718 (Madison, Wisconsin travel nursing / rehab jobs)/n - Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation as appropriate/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Active CNA or Patient Care Tech (PCT) certification (Certified Nursing Assistant preferred)/n - BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)/n - Minimum 2 years of experience in skilled nursing, med-surg, or other 24/7 skilled care unit/n - Experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospital or IRF strongly preferred/n - EMR experience required; EPIC experience preferred/n - Proven ability to work night shift in high-acuity rehab or skilled nursing settings/n - Strong attendance record, reliability, and team-player mentality/n - Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving clinical needs/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide direct patient care to adults receiving inpatient rehabilitation services, supporting recovery and functional outcomes/n - Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as ceiling lifts, Sara Steady, slide boards, gait belts, and mechanical lifts/n - Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition/n - Support wound care basics, feeding tube assistance, oxygen delivery, and other delegated nursing tasks per facility policy/n - Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and help promote safe, independent function/n - Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy teams to maximize patient recovery/n - Accurately document care and interventions in EPIC EMR and follow charting standards/n - Adhere to infection control practices, isolation precautions, and facility policies and procedures/n - Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required/n /n/nPerks & Highlights/n /n - Competitive weekly pay for travel patient care technician positions/n - Completion bonus of $1,000 for full contract adherence/n - Opportunity to gain specialized inpatient rehab experience and strengthen clinical skills/n - Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehab team supporting patient-centered care/n - Live and work in Madison, WI — a vibrant city with great outdoor and cultural amenities/n /n/n Apply now for this Travel Patient Care Technician (PCT) opportunity in Madison, WI.
