Directly responsible for administration of the Total Rewards
program, which includes administering all Employee Benefit Programs
(Health, Dental, Vision etc).-- Assist VP of HR in annual
evaluation of employee benefits to ensure competitiveness in cost
and quality. Conduct in-depth market research on benefit offerings
and cost.-- Maintains knowledge of governmental regulations,
reporting requirements and legal requirements affecting company
policies and human resource practices in Wage & Hour, FLSA, COBRA,
FMLA etc.-- Administers Derse's wellness program ensuring timely
notification to employees on participation levels and updated
healthcare premium costs. This includes developing and executing a
communication strategy for all employee benefit offerings. --
Accurately manages the costs of the Employee Benefit Programs and
processes / approves all invoices for payment. -- Responsible for
COBRA, ADA and FMLA administration.-- Assist Employee Relations
Manager in administration of Derse's retirement plan audits.--
Assist in creating and updating job descriptions to ensure
consistency, position title designation and ADA compliance.--
Assist VP of HR with administration of compensation program to
ensure compliance and equity within organization.-- Provide support
to all HR team members in assisting in developing / documenting
SOPs and/or policies contained in the Derse Administration Policy &
Procedures Manual. -- Responsible for backing-up HR Coordinator in
preparing and processing company-wide payroll, maintaining Derse's
HRIS and on-boarding activities-- Responsible for conducting new
hire orientations and conducting the Derse Introduction Course.--
Provide support to Employee Relations Manager with compliance and
employee engagement, which could include preparing and deploying
various employee satisfaction surveys. -- Provide recruitment
support to the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed and
directed. This includes handling full recruitment cycle of assigned
jobs as directed.
Requirements:
-- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources Business
Administration-- PHR / SPHR, SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP preferred-- Must
possess 3-5 years of generalist experience with a strong background
in benefits-- Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality,
maturity and discretion. Previous experience a must-- Strong
analytical skills with ability to research, compile & interpret
data & perform in-depth analysis-- Must be willing to be an active
participant in a team environment-- Highly organized, flexible and
ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven
