Job Description Infosys is seeking an Mainframe QA Technical Test Lead

As a QA Test Lead you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required--Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Milwaukee, WI or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies --
  Preferred Experience :
  • Mainframe Knowledge - JCL, PL1, SQL, DB, Rexx utility with minimum 7 yrs of exp.
  • Should be able to run the batches and debug to resolve issues single handedly.
  • test data for System and Acceptance (as defined by the Testing discipline in SA&E); create test scripts (manual and automated).
  • Accountable for preparing and coordinating Acceptance testing and working with the business area to define the acceptance criteria. Own the communication and approval of test results.
  • Quality Assurance concepts
  • Experience in working in Java
  • Risk Servicing Business Knowledge
  • Effectively interact with interfacing organizations and work together as a team to deliver projects on time.
  • Work efficiently and demonstrate a high level of energy
  • Communication and Analytical skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
