ProShip, Inc. has immediate openings for ambitious Customer Service Support Engineers who will be responsible for Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 support of the ProShip software suite. ProShip is a multi-carrier shipping solution responsible for making complex parcel shipping challenges simple and cost-effective for 25% of today's Top 100 Retailers. We look forward to adding two dedicated Software Support Engineers to our growing team. General Summary

• Provide software support for customers to identify/remedy the performance of their shipping solution
• Potential for participation in integration & special projects to improve or adjust features or functionality of the software Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 customer support
  • Evaluate issues to be resolved using logical problem-solving techniques and collect relevant technical information to solve the customer issue
  • Debug, test and implement system modifications including scripting
  • Work collaboratively with development and marketing teams to offer feedback on customer needs and expectations
  • Document relevant technical processes
    Required Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, CS, MCS, MIS or related field or the equivalent in a combination of education and work experience
    • Excellent working knowledge/proficiency in VB.NET and VB Script
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with customers
    • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Poise and balance under pressure to be able to gather relevant data, think analytically and solve problems
    • Capable employee with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific knowledge and new technologies
    • Basic SQL skills
    • Able to work in a multi-tasking, collaborative team environment
    • Experience in the shipping and supply chain industry a plus Physical Requirements
      • Able to withstand sustained computer usage
