Job Description:
Must be available to work onsite. The nature of this software
development requires physical interaction with equipment.
Details:
This position will be responsible for development and modification
of manufacturing software tools used to configure and test
cardiology devices manufactured by Baxter. Specific work includes
updating tools to provide for bilingual functionality and
re-architecting existing tools for sustainability.
The successful candidate will possess solid hands-on technical
abilities, an ability to engage cross functionally to identify
stakeholder requirements and the ability to deliver within a strict
non-product tool development process.
The Role:
Responsible for software development of tools used within
manufacturing including software requirements collection, design
documentation, implementation, code reviews, unit tests, software,
and system validation Responsible for representing software status
to the broader project including identification of risk and
scheduling of software deliverables Responsible for coordinating
with SMEs to ramp-up on existing legacy tools to determine any
necessary remediation Responsible for coordinating with
manufacturing and test teams on completion of necessary non-product
software testing, documentation, and design history Meticulous
attention to detail is required for creation and maintenance of
software design and validation history is required. Strict
adherence to quality and process standards is required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science & Engineering discipline or
equivalent is required 5+ years experience in a software
engineering role, preferably with experience in PC based
applications and test automation Good software architecture,
design, and implementation skills Strong Object-Oriented
development and design knowledge and experience Understanding of
technology & software development principles Programming: C++, C#,
.NET, Visual Studio. National Instruments LabVIEW is desired
Knowledge of Windows operating systems usage and configuration
Script: Batch, PowerShell, and JS is desired Knowledge of SQL
database scripting and communication is desired Experience with
SubVersion, Mictosoft TFS and Azure DevOps is desired. Spanish
language knowledge is desirable Demonstrated success in delivering
results on technical challenges Excellent communication and
inter-personal skills Openness to collaborate in interest of
project/organization Proactive and self-driven, possesses due sense
of urgency Shall possess systems mindset and good problem-solving
abilities.
