role, you will:
- The Global Adult and Feminine Care R&E front-end innovation
technical Leader interfaces with R&E teams and leaders across
Accountable Business Units (KCNA and IPC) and key markets lead
front-end innovation for Adult and Feminine Care. This role leads
the front-end innovation product development work to fill
Kimbery-Clark 0-to-7-year innovation pipeline for Global Adult and
Feminine Care R&E.
- This role works closely with Global AFC Project/Matl/Process
leads, Global AFC Care Sector Brand and Innovation Marketers and
the various Kimberly-Clark technology support teams (KCNA GADT,
KCNA Tech Teams, Science and Technology, GNW, etc.) to champion and
ensure the needs of the diverse Accountable Business Unit (ABU)
customer base is prioritized and acted on. Expectations and
Accountabilities:
- Deliver minimum viable concepts, vision product/solutions
designs, minimum viable prototypes to support 0-to-7-year
innovation pipelines for AFC. Deliver projects resources and
developed within the global team for hand-off to lead market in
various phases of completion due to business needs.
- Work/lead and partner with regional teams on innovation
projects prioritized by the Global AFC R&E director and Global
AFC Marketing leader to deliver 0 to 7 years forward looking
front-end innovation portfolio.
- Work with global R&E Director to identify and champion
opportunities to optimize front-end innovation resources to develop
advantaged AFC products across regions in collaboration with
regional R&E leads.
- Work with Global R&E Material Leader to identify and
prioritize needed materials and process technologies required to
enable competitively advantaged AFC product plans.
- Work with regional R&E teams and global marketing to
develop advantaged innovation road maps to develop, market, and
sell Kimberly-Clark products.
- Facilitate and work with regional R&E/marketing teams
understanding / benchmarking leading AFC competitor products across
the globe to enable and provide insights on Kimberly-Clark product
recommendations to gain advantage in market performance, benefit
delivery, cost structure, claims, etc.
- Participate in IP protection efforts for product, and materials
within R&E.
- Participate in the development of global process intellectual
property strategies to ensure innovations are appropriately
protected.
- Communicate appropriately with all customers, conducting all
communications and transactions with the utmost integrity and
honesty.
- Implement programs and procedures which ensure effective safety
and quality attitudes and practices.
- Manage self in accordance with the expected behaviors of the
leadership qualities.
- Ensure that all elements of the corporate human resources
development and diversity policy are fully supported. Scope:
- Responsible for ensuring that front-end innovation product
strategies across the AFC sector will deliver on short-term and
long-term innovation plan expectations and are positioned to enable
speed to market and are globally relevant.
- Responsible for leading the solution of key product problems
(always working on the most critical business process issues) and
providing counsel on other smaller issues as needed. Dimensions:

qualifications: Required Qualifications:
- This position typically requires technical knowledge and
ability associated with a science or engineering degree.
- 7+ years of extensive and broad technical front-end innovation
experience in developing minimum viable concepts, vision product
designs, minimum viable prototypes.
- Extensive and broad technical experience in a research,
engineering, manufacturing, or other technical function with
demonstrated results.
- Demonstrated track record of innovation leadership which has
resulted in business impact.
- Demonstrated track record of influencing technical direction
and creating competitive advantage in the area of product
development and/or material design.
- Strong capability in intellectual property development and/or
management.
- Strong mentor/coach of other technologists; contributions in
the area of talent development for strengthening the organization's
technical capability.
- Must have experience working closely with business, marketing,
manufacturing and engineering functions.
- Demonstrated evidence of a solid background of technical
knowledge and experience combined with the proven ability to
successfully direct projects and influence people at all
organizational levels.
- The ability to drive decision making is critical to this
position.
- Ability and proven record of managing and giving daily work
direction to technicians.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage development
budget.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize external FEI
resources/consultants/contractors to scale ideas and rapidly obtain

$127,500-$157,500 in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay
levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not
limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
