the opportunity for you. As the Senior Product Manager - Embedded
Finance, Merchant Integration, and Developer Experience, you will
own the end-to-end experience for merchants, partners, and
developers integrating with ZIP’s ecosystem. Your scope includes
everything from merchant onboarding, API usability, embedded
financial products, and developer tooling to partner ecosystem
enablement and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring
seamless adoption and scalability of ZIP’s embedded finance and
integration products, enabling merchants and developers to innovate
on top of ZIP’s platform. Interesting problems you’ll get to solve
• Define and drive the product strategy for merchant integration,
embedded finance, and developer experience. • Own and optimize
merchant onboarding and API integration, ensuring a frictionless
experience for partners. • Build and scale embedded finance
solutions, including BNPL for merchants, white-label lending, and
alternative payment solutions. • Develop world-class developer
experiences, including SDKs, API documentation, sandbox
environments, and integration support. • Collaborate with
Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Partnerships to deliver
seamless and compliant solutions. • Define key KPIs to measure
merchant adoption, API performance, integration success rates, and
developer engagement. • Partner with external merchants, fintechs,
and payment providers to scale ZIP’s embedded finance offerings. •
Advocate for best-in-class API design, security, and developer
usability to create a frictionless integration process. What you’ll
bring to the team • Education & Training: o Bachelor’s degree in a
relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science). An
advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. o Completion of a
formal Product Management training program is preferred. •
Experience: o 5 years of product management experience, with a
strong focus on embedded finance, merchant integrations, and
developer experience. o Expertise in API product management,
developer platforms, and merchant integration solutions. o
Experience in payments, financial services, merchant acquiring, and
embedded finance. o Strong technical understanding of APIs,
authentication (OAuth, JWT), SDKs, and API security. o Proven
ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Risk,
Compliance, Sales, and external partners. o Experience in regulated
financial services, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, Reg-Z, AML,
KYC, and financial industry best practices. o Hands-on experience
with API design, developer portals, and sandbox environments is a
plus. • Leadership: o A strategic and execution-oriented Senior
Product Leader who drives impact. o A customer-first mindset,
ensuring seamless merchant and developer experiences. o Strong
analytical skills, using data to drive decision-making and product
improvements. o Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills,
especially with Engineering and Compliance. o Exceptional
communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience
working with external partners. • Skills & Expertise: o Deep
understanding of consumer fintech product ecosystems and trends,
with experience delivering solutions that enhance customer value. o
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record
of using data to inform product decisions and optimize customer
journeys. o Exceptional collaboration skills, with a history of
working effectively across Product Design, Engineering, Marketing,
Data, Compliance, and Legal teams. o Outstanding communication and
interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to executives and

Zip is committed to a straightforward and transparent pay
structure. The actual base salary will be determined by various
individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills,
experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective
business considerations. The annual base Pay Range for this
position is $150,000-$165,000. This range reflects our US national
compensation (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based
on our tiered premium strategy. Subject to those same
considerations, the total compensation package for this position
may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity
awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or
other benefits. If hired, employees will be in an at-will position
and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well
as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit
program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual
performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and
market factors.
