Position SummaryThis position is responsible for developing and maintaining a good working relationship with judges, court personnel, attorneys, jurors and the public and is bound by rigid guidelines to keep all jurors secure for trials.This is a casual, as needed position. Schedule is based on trial dates and jury bailiff rotation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Handle records and exhibits.Maintain a good working relationship with the judges, court personnel, jurors and the public.Knowledge of courtroom procedures.Follow written and verbal instructions.Keep jurors secure and handle all their needs.Ensure courtroom proceedings are followed as to not cause a mistrial.Demonstrate a commitment to county safety and risk management efforts.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
