Baker Manufacturing Company, LLC, a leader in the manufacturing sector for water systems and equipment, is seeking an experienced AY Submersible Pump Assembler Lead to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial for ensuring the high-quality assembly of our submersible pumps, essential for supporting global water movement. The ideal candidate will serve as a pivotal point in our manufacturing process, driving team performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality objectives. Oversee and coordinate the assembly line of submersible pumps. Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance to ensure efficiency and quality in production. Read and interpret assembly blueprints and schematics. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and troubleshoot assembly issues. Maintain records of production and report on team performance and progress. Implement and enforce safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Regularly inspect machinery and assemble components to ensure adherence to specifications. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize productivity. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expertise in mechanical assembly and familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems. Proficiency in reading technical documents and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate heavy machinery used in the assembly of submersible pumps. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Production Technician (CPT) preferred. OSHA Safety Certification is advantageous.
