Job Description 2nd Shift General Assembler Department:
Manufacturing / Operations / Quality Employment Type: Full Time
Location: US - Wisconsin - Madison Reporting To: John Bowser
Compensation: $19.00 / hour Description Responsible for preparing,
assembling, testing, and packaging according to the production
schedule. Key Responsibilities /n - Responsible for preparing,
assembling, testing, and packaging according to operating
instructions. /n - Meets daily production schedule as assigned. /n
- Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled
parts. /n - Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory
requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems. /n - Follow detailed
assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. /n - Report
problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to
Production Supervisor. /n - Maintains a clean and organized work
area to facilitate manufacturing functions. /n - Performs other
duties as required or assigned. /n /n Skills Knowledge and
Expertise Skills and Abilities /n - Works with various hand and
power tools. /n - Reads and understands documents such as policy
manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. /n - Utilizes common sense understanding in
order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. /n -
Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise
tolerances and standards. /n - Interpersonal skills sufficient to
work closely with others on a team. /n - Ability to demonstrate
flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently
changing tasks. /n - Ability to work alone effectively under stress
and in situations dangerous to self or others. /n - Completes some
moderately repetitive tasks. /n /n Education and Experience /n -
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required). /n - Six months or
more experience working in a manufacturing type position
(preferred). /n /n Computer Skills - Basic computer knowledge
(required). /n PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES /n - While performing the
functions of this job, the employee is: /n - Continually required
to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.; stand. /n - Regularly
required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.; push or pull;
walk. /n - Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up
to 50 lbs.; sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn
wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities;
reach above shoulders; reach to full extension. /n - Specific
vision abilities required by this job include regular peripheral
viewing; viewing length changes; close viewing with depth
perception; and occasional distance viewing. /n - Specific hearing
abilities required by this job include the need to perceive the
spoken voice clearly and the need to hear warning signals up to
70dbs with or without assistance. /n - Specific speech abilities
regularly required by this job include comprehensible speech. /n /n
