What you will do

He/she will develop and manage sales business processes and applications, while coordinating and implementing sales targets, tracking metrics, and supporting cadence to reach Global Products (GP) growth targets. You will have responsibility for Sales Operations spanning all products/brands and channels within GP. He/she will provide business leadership and overall accountability for the success of the programs driving them from a concept stage through execution including on-time/on-budget delivery to all channels, as well as to end customers, where applicable.

How you will do it

Work closely with business and technical leaders throughout GP to ensure both initiative and team member engagement success.

Be the key business decision-maker on the CRM Platform development, execution and adoption.

Analyze markets and current business performance in order to develop strategies consistent with GP growth plans.

Work with GP Sales and brand leadership to develop and implement a sales business plan.

Facilitate a field sales planning process that incorporates bottom-up planning, workload modeling and market metric analysis.

Provide proper staffing and ensure account assignment levels are established relative to area goals and aligned with Global Products sales plan.

Ensure the validation of area planning assumptions on an ongoing basis.

Implement an account management program for the GP sales organization, ensuring target and key account assignments are established, reviewed, and managed.

Collect, consolidate, and prioritize field and channel feedback to incorporate into other GP strategies and marketing programs.

Collect and provide analysis of market intelligence and market research.

Translate strategic and program goals to specific financial impacts, creating organizational financial models and gains through buy-in on financial targets.

Lead projects of high complexity.

Develop metrics for the channel, measuring critical performance activities for each individual and the department including the creation of pipeline identification and tracking.

Assist the brand and regional leaders with building strategic accounts and opportunities, while engaging in and supporting strategic account reviews, critical opportunity reviews, executive-level meetings, and presentations.

Research competitors, practices and market opportunities to assist in preparing authoritative recommendations on competitive sales positioning.

Evaluate and implement tools required to efficiently and consistently support execution of standard sales and operations planning processes.

Lead, define and implement dashboard metrics for tracking above processes.

Coordinate training activities for Salesforce deployment and on-boarding.

Lead user acceptance testing/sign off for Salesforce deployments.

What we look for

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.

10+ years’ experience focused on business strategy and sales operations.

Strong knowledge of the sales process and sales operating model.

Channel design and strategy experience.

Strong data analytics capabilities.

Solid leadership skills, and the ability to lead through influence and contribution.

Track record of demonstrating teamwork and the ability to succeed while managing complex projects.

Preferred

HVAC industry knowledge or experience.

MBA or MS Degree.
