This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the organization, including operations, manufacturing services, engineering, sales/marketing, finance/accounting, human resources, maintenance and safety/environmental.

This position will direct and coordinate activities of an industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations to maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Functional areas operating within the site.

* Ensure that products are manufactured and delivered to the customer in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest standard of quality.

* Review production costs and product quality and modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of organization.

* Daily, weekly and monthly operational progress reporting to Management. Analyze current results to establish areas of opportunity to reduce cost and increase profitability.

* Provide leadership, direction and guidance to all employees at the site level.

* Promote and ensure compliance to Company policies and procedures.

* Foster a team environment by participating in decision making, information sharing and identifying opportunities for improvement.

* Ensure direct reports promote and ensure compliance to Company policies and procedures.

* Ensure adherence to safety work practices and consistently monitor for compliance.

* Work in conjunction with Human Resources to ensure timely recruitment of staff; assist in the candidate selection and interview process.

* Work in conjunction with Human Resources to ensure proper training programs are established and effectively implemented.

* Work in conjunction with Human Resources to appropriately document and administer disciplinary action as required.

* Review of financial records to assure accuracy.

* Participate in developing the yearly budget and manage activities within the budget through the year.

* Promote customer relationships through proactive contact and conflict resolution.

* Review operations of competing organizations and recommend sales/product programs to develop new markets or increase market share.

* Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum education, job experience, certifications, skills, knowledge and abilities that incumbent must typically have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably with or without a reasonable accommodation.

* BS: Business, Marketing, Engineering or related area

* 5 or more years of manufacturing, marketing or engineering work experience

* Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, financial planning, and business planning skills

* Ability to travel occasionally; in some circumstances with limited notice

* Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly.

* Interpersonal and supervisory skills, such as emotional competency, coaching, providing feedback, and evaluating performance of subordinates, and the ability to coach and motivate employees to achieve management expectation and assigned performance criteria.

* Conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer relation skills.

* Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.

* Analytical and reasoning ability and good judgment for complex business decisions and strategic planning.

* Interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

* Customer service and quality orientation.
