Job Description:

FSQA Technicians: Be part of ours and your own growth as we prepare to build our new Plant! Qualified candidates will have solid work history with attention to detail. Primary role of the position is to ensure that all food products produced meets the requirements of customers, regulatory bodies (USDA), and the company. The quality assurance technician records and submits all documentation related to direct food production, product packaging and labeling, food quality, safety, etc.
Responsibilities
--- Monitor to assure conformance to requirement of QA Procedure
--- Perform Raw Material Analysis and testing
--- Perform Pre-Operative Inspection
--- Perform Operational Inspections
--- Verify documentation in their area to assure recall ability
--- Pre-Shipment Review
--- Verify Key QCP's
--- Complete Employee HACCP training
--- Perform finished product inspection
--- Perform net weight monitoring and/or verification
--- Maintain positive working relationships with USDA inspectors, superintendents, supervisors, QA team members, production team members, and corporate personnel
--- Comply with USDA/FSIS guidelines
--- Help enforce GMPs
--- Complete product sensory evaluation as required
--- Communicate and align in house testing with corporate R&D personnel including test lot reports, guidance through test procedure, gathering all information, reporting and analyzing --- High school diploma, or equivalent, or related education or interests in Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural or Food Science, and willing to work in a refrigerated environment.
--- One year of food manufacturing experience is preferred. Bilingual ideal.
--- Collaborative interpersonal and good communication skills (verbal & written).
--- Quantitative and qualitative research skills with good problem-solving skills.
--- Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
