We Are Hiring:
A PRN Sonography Technologist for
Ascension St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee.
Graduate of ARDMS program with
registration in OB/GYN and Abdomen issued by issued by the American
Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) Performs all general
and/or vascular procedures/studies under the direction of the
Radiologist. Experience in EHR and ability following disinfecting
guideline for equipment and procedures.
What You Will Do:
PRN position covers a minimum of 4 shifts per month to
include on call and a holiday on call shift as scheduled Ability to
work independently, excellent patient care and communication skills
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart.
Perform diagnostic procedures on patients
using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure,
providing quality images for interpretation.
• Set up and adjust all equipment
and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.

transfer date required:
• One or more of the following:
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed
from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained
within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed
from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
date.General Radiography is also required in addition to
Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by
Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180
days) of hire dale or job transfer date.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180
days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date
or job transfer date.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
