Kohler Showroom & Design Director (Remote)

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Reporting to the VP & GM - Consumer Channels, Kitchen & Bath North America, you will have responsibility for Kohler Signature Stores including developing and driving strategic marketing activities such as customer acquisition and conversion strategies, programs and promotions targeted for consumers and trade professionals.

You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and business opportunities and guiding product assortment, merchandising and store operations. The efforts of this position will significantly contribute to meeting or exceeding established Kohler Co. and partner sales, profitability, and customer service objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for executing programs and promotions to drive growth in Kitchen and Bath Americas through Kohler Signature Stores. * Accountable to provide vision, guidance and direction in the development of general plans, budgets and strategies; assess the effectiveness of performance of programs; allocate resources appropriately and evaluate results; ensure proper coordination with related businesses. * Monitors the success, impact, and contribution of all programs, effectively communicating this information to management. * Develops strategies and support programs to increase penetration of Kitchen and Bath products to include pricing and quoting strategies, omni-channel marketing programs, and communication pieces. * Properly present and protect the KOHLER and Sterling brand, driving growth and positioning. * Ensure the development of POP and merchandising for channel customers that drives sales and is "on brand." * Prepare an annual program plan for Kohler Signature Stores. * Provide guidance and assistance to sales and marketing managers to promote Kohler products in accordance with established objectives. * Monitor competitor promotions for each product group. Apprise product management of competitor activities and changes in the marketplace. * Serve as a liaison between sales and product management. Provide product management with ongoing analyses and evaluations of performance of programs, trends, potential demand, and competition, making recommendations to increase sales. * Monitor activity of key manufacturing competitors, develop and implement initiatives to combat those competitors, and report this information to Senior Management.

Skills/Requirements

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. * 10+ years of experience in retail operations, sales, marketing, channel marketing, and/or product development with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results. * Salesforce CRM platform experience a plus. * Minimum of 3 years of experience with P&L and/or budgeting. * People leadership experience required. * Possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker. * Possess substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts. * Ability to travel to Stores, customer and market visits as needed, 25 - 50%.

Preferred:

* MBA/MS. * 5+ years of experience with P&L and/or budgeting. * Cross-functional experience and post graduate training in marketing or management.
