Project Analyst

Work Mode: Hybrid

The Project Analyst is responsible for the coordination of project processes and/or activities in the Strategic Initiative Office. Assisting in the development and continuous management of roadmaps, calendars, project plans, and interfaces. The Project Analyst will follow up, track, administer instructions, logistics, action items across a variety of enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Reporting & Review: Manage the project review process; provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at agreed review points to enable them to evaluate progress and agree on change.
  • Project Planning: Produce workstream or project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project management framework.
  • Document Preparation: Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
  • Stakeholder Management: Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.
  • Project Risk & Issue Management: Carry out delegated activities to support identification and evaluation of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project and the design of mitigating solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and continuously improve the tactical operation of the Strategic Initiative Office as evidenced by satisfaction of customers: Kohler Leadership Team (effective use of their time, focus on strategic priorities); owners of priority initiatives (clear expectations and follow through); change the work captains (clear expectations and follow through).
  • Project Scope Definition: Carry out research, workshops, and other activities to support the specification and agreement of project deliverables.
  • Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
  • Project Close-Out & Handover: Draft elements of product documentation and user training to support handover to business as usual. Contribute to post-project reviews and identification of lessons learned.
  • Project Resource Management: Carry out delegated activities to support the deployment and effective utilization of project resources.
  • Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised.
  • Basic experience of coordinating the work of others.
  • Communicates Effectively: Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Relationship Building Skills & Balances Stakeholders: Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Assertive, Self-Initiative, Action Oriented: Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
