Job Title: Productions Manager

Class: Full-Time, Exempt

Reports to: Director, Multimedia Productions

Department: Live Programming & Entertainment (Marketing)

This position supports organization efforts through providing detailed and catalogued content that will be requested by every department. Also, they will ensure the accurate format of all content and input / create metadata to enable efficient access. The Productions Manager must be results-oriented, have a high-level of attention to details, and possess the ability to adhere to deadlines within a fast-paced, high pressure environment. The Productions Manager will handle workflow with editors/designers and coordinate/curate all content with all departments to ensure the fulfilment of company goals.


Game night responsibilities - Yes

Event / Concert Night responsibilities - Yes

  • Curate and organize all content for Bucks, Marquette and concerts/events
  • Organize and manage all video, graphic, and photo files consistently for efficient storage and retrieval of projects
  • Input Metadata into Editshare Media System
  • Create Metadata content based on specific programming and decide which categories should be used for content
  • Log, move, manage, store and retrieve digital media and long-term storage
  • Oversee Ross Xpression graphics, clip playback and Ross INcoder server operations to ensure content is properly created for playback
  • Operate Ross Xpression machines during events
  • Collaborates with all departments to produce high quality and compelling content
  • Able to serve many different functions within certain productions, such as camera operator, producer, graphic support, writer, director, as assigned
  • Maintain logo and identity guidelines and assist in managing their use while following NBA, NCAA guidelines for word marks and team identity marks
  • Continue to explore best practices for media management


  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or video production from four-year College or University; or 3-5 years relative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong Control Room Background or game presentation background
  • Strong Knowledge of Ross Acuity Production Switcher, Ross Xpression Studio, Ross Xpression Clips and Daktronics Display Studio
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Media Encoder
  • Experience shooting with multiple cameras such as the Canon C100, C300, DSLR
  • Knowledge of Interview production set-ups: lighting, audio, and camera
  • Proven experience and understanding of production/media asset management, video compression and encoding techniques, and cloud-based workflow and delivery of digital files over various Cloud and FTP platforms
  • Broad based experience/understanding of integrated marketing (advertising, promotion, publicity, and online)
  • Ability to think strategically about the brand across multiple platforms
  • Outstanding communication skills and a positive, energetic personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Substantial attention to detail and passion about Quality Control
  • Self-motivated, highly resourceful, with strong decision-making skills
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong knowledge of the NBA (Milwaukee Bucks), NCAA (Marquette Golden Eagles)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point, OneDrive)
