Job Description SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Quality and Compliance Engineering Manager, the Quality Administration Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and sustaining systemic parameters to streamline and maximize the overall quality and efficiency of product returns. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Lead the identification, development, and application of elements of the RMA process, including record control, timely and accurate assessments, material processing and handling, and overall material flow Generate Quality Notifications outlining the reason(s) for the return Write and issue Authorized Release Certificates, FAA Form 8130-3, Airworthiness Approval Tags Assist in the monitoring and execution of data collection plans Monitor and track information within spreadsheets and databases, as well as action item commitments and due dates, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of commitments and activities while achieving high levels of quality performance Support data flow and identification on area continuous improvement boards Support kaizen activity and related activities Conduct internal audits of RMA systems and assign corrective actions as necessary Support manufacturing operations, including quality trending and data analysis, and assist with containment initiatives. Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner. Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safety standards, procedures, and regulations. Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma. 1 year of relevant quality or manufacturing experience. 1 year of relevant office/administration experience. Experience within the Aerospace Industry with exposure to AS9100 and FAA regulations preferred. JOB SKILLS Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills. Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. Excellent communication skills in both written and presentation form. Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once. Strong technical skills including the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Ability to be flexible and function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment. Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands. A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
