Job Description:

Our client is looking to bring new and brilliant individuals onto their Accounting team! The Accounting Specialist will manage accounting transactions related to the OEM equipment distribution business. This includes, but is not limited to, entering Accounts Payable invoices to the OEM, tracking when AP payments should be made, tracking incoming payments from the customer, monitoring AP Aging and AR Aging and contacting the customer for collections as needed, and ensuring invoices are submitted to the customer timely. List of job requirements. Job Requirements:MUST HAVES:

• Good solid experience - hopeful not getting someone that's hopped every year or two from job to job - had to tell Michelle that it's temps who are usually more open to temp assignments. She's ok with some temp roles on candidate's resumes.
• Good computer skills, keyboarding skills
• Good communication skills
• Good work ethic
• Experience with both AP and AR
• • Voucher all equipment payables to the supplier & manage timing of payments
  • Track collections from customers to ensure payments are being received according to terms on sales
  • Manage rebate program with OEM
  • Perform collection efforts (interact with customers via email or phone), as necessary, to follow up on aged receivables that are not being paid timely
