Packaging Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$24.64/hr

Job Duties:
Setting up and operating cream cheese packaging machines and various code dating equipment
Reviewing and following posted production schedule and monitoring for possible changes
Providing a detailed pass down to oncoming relief
Operating machines to meet production standards
Knowing and demonstrating all Safe Work SOP s related to position
Monitoring product and packaging for quality requirements by visual examination, weight checks, and examination of packaging components.
Completing all paperwork associated with production rates, weight checks and downtime.
Disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, reassembling packaging equipment, and documentation as required
Performing General Operator or General laborer duties as assigned by leader
Rate of Pay:
Up to $24.64 per hour ($23.14 max plus $1.50 certification pay) based upon relevant experience.
Overtime available after 8+ hour work day.
Additional pay for weekends.
Pay is on a bi-weekly basis. MKE-03 WS-03
Schedule

Shift start: 2:00PM or 10:30PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours

Qualifications

* Must pass drug screen
* Must pass background check
* Can lift 50 lbs
* Must be at least 18+ years old

This role requires a knowledge of basic math including % and decimal placementMust be able to work safely and in a team environment.Overtime is expected and weekend work is likely.
