Job Responsibilities: Resident Monitor - GPS/Scram Tech Parsons House - Residential Re-Entry Wisconsin Community ServicesPosition Summary: THIRD SHIFT, 12-HOUR (7PM-7AM) This position has responsibility for all technical functions in regard to the WCS Electronic Monitoring program, including installations, technical maintenance, assistance with inventory control, and de-installations. This position reports to the Supervisor of the Electronic Monitoring Unit in Milwaukee . May be reassigned?between two centrally located facilities as needed. ? ? Essential Functions: 1. ?? Ensure GPS/SCRAM program is set up and administered according to AMS process and procedure guidelines.? 2 .?? Provide GPS/ SCRAM supervision and support daily for Parsons House RRC residents. This includes equipment installation and removal and maintenance of equipment. 3 .?? Ensure complete enrollment/data entry for all participants in SCRAMNET. 4 .?? Assist to review and resolve all scheduled maintenance alerts. 5.?? Assist to?review and resolve all communication alerts . 6. ? Report all alerts and violations in a timely manner according to program protocols . 7. ? Review and manage program participant agreements. 8 .?? Provide notification and follow up with agencies and participants based on Daily Action Plans provided by AMS. 9 . ? Maintain inventory and physical control of all GPS/SCRAM equipment at the Administration location as required.? 1 0 .?? Collaborate and coordinate with the Assistant Director of Electronic Monitoring and the Director of EM Operations regarding any concerns with the daily operations and the development of GPS/SCRAM. 1 1 .? ?Work with WCS program staff and external entities involved with GPS/SCRAM. 1 2 .?? Clean GPS/SCRAM equipment and secure the equipment in the inventory. 1 3 . Other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility to cover other security shifts as needed.
  • Mandatory overtime to meet coverage needs across Residential Re-entry Division.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • pm21Job Qualifications: Minimal Qualifications and Salary Schedule: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.?? One-year prior work experience in corrections or related security or other social service is preferred. Must clear Caregiver and Background checks, physical exam, and drug screen prior to hire.? Must have valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements. Other Job Information (if applicable): Work Relationship and Scope: Works primarily with residents. Also interacts with other staff, probation officers, visitors, family members, employers, and the general public.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.? Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with staff and residents.? Ability to de-escalate crisis situations. Sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic, and disability issues. Experience with CCTV and other security related equipment preferred.? Ability to learn evidence based best practices and apply skills learned to all residents interactions. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an adult correctional halfway house setting. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week as the primary living environment for this population Physical Demands: Must be able climb two to three flights of stairs and be mobile throughout the facility.? Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, walk and stay awake while on shift. Must be able to evacuate occupants from building in less than three minutes in the event of an emergency. Requires ability to provide First Aid and CPR.?
