Job Description:

*Summary*

The Sales Account Executive (SAE) will be responsible for development and execution of the sales strategy and pipeline for Data Holdings. The successful candidate will identify new offering opportunities and execute on all sales opportunities through closing. The SAE will work closely with sales leadership, strategic alliances, marketing, channels, and other regional sales leaders to build trends leading to long term revenue impact.

*Responsibilities*

Manage Sales Cycle

--- Develop existing pipeline and new business opportunities within the commercial segment and the Company's target markets.

--- Engage senior decision makers, customer influencers, and ecosystem partners to advance sales pursuits.

--- Manage the sales process for target and existing accounts, including the ability to prepare proposals and quotations for new, expanded and renewal of business.

--- Manage relationships and communications within the customer account including internal stakeholders and partners required for a successful deal.

--- Lead the account through the evolution from selling product (colocation, interconnection, and managed Infrastructure Services) to selling solutions.

--- Negotiate business with current and prospective customers according to Company guidelines with the support and guidance of Senior Management.

--- Manage transition of finalized transactions to provisioning and operations support team.

--- Conduct current and prospective customer visits and ability to knowledgably review data center operations.

- Develop New Business and Go-To-Marketing

--- Drive net new logo business while managing an existing book of business.

--- Develop a go-to-market plan including prioritizing short term and long-term pursuits.

--- Identify relevant new business opportunities, ecosystems, partnerships, and markets.

--- Charged with gathering of market intelligence and design and drive go-to-market plans for the account.

--- Review and analyze market opportunities and evaluate competitive and technology requirements needed to capitalize on opportunities.

--- Understand current and future industry needs in the context of market dynamics to deliver multiyear business deals.

--- Attend tradeshows and industry shows.

--- Ability to travel regionally up to 30% of the time.

*Qualifications and Experience*

* - Industry*

--- Prefer 5+ years of industry experience in sales or account leadership role selling Colocation or Managed Services, technology infrastructure such as network, servers, converged, or other integrated solutions, products (infrastructure, storage, and networking) or software.

--- 8 years of B2B sales experience preferred.

--- Requires strong experience in technology sales.

--- Relevant technical and industry acumen.

--- IT savvy - comfortable with IT language, trends, and technology ecosystems.

* - Sales and Interpersonal*

--- Strong hunter with proven track record of developing and closing on new logo accounts.

--- Go-to-market planning and execution skills for short term and long-term pursuits.

--- Ability to position new solutions for customer.

--- Experience managing deal pursuit or account team responsible for revenue generation with a track record of supporting larger customer accounts.

--- Requires strong relationship building and management skills within customer accounts.

--- Strong track record and demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining strong industry, professional relationships; prefer 'C' level engagement.

--- This position requires exemplary verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills preferred and the ability to articulate value proposition and Total Cost of Ownership.

--- Strong sales process skills and working with sales support teams.

--- Stakeholder management ability.

--- Works well in a collaborative group setting.

--- Self-Starter - willingness to challenge the status quo through acceptable professional tactics.

--- Ability to posture subject matter expertise as a trusted advisor.

--- Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.

* - Education/Tools*

--- Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience preferred.

--- Salesforce or similar CRM tools, Microsoft office skills MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

--- Must possess a valid driver's license, good driving record and insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
