Our client, a leading manufacturer for coating manufacturing in the U.S and Canada, is looking for R&D chemists/scientists to join their expanding team and specialise in the formulation of wall coatings. This company generates around $1 billion in yearly revenue and is renowned for creating and selling some of the most durable and advanced products on the market.Job PurposeThe primary result expected from the R&D Chemist will be to formulate new products as requested by Marketing, re-formulate current product lines for improvement, and solve technical scale-up and manufacturing problems by ensuring the availability of quality and value engineered products which satisfy customer's requirements and increase sales and profitability of the corporation.General Responsibilities (*not exhaustive)Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions, utilizing chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry techniques.Maintain laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.Develop, improve, and customize products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.Conduct quality control tests.Direct, coordinate, and advise personnel in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of coatings and related materials.Requirements*3 - 5 years' experience for chemists5 - 7 years' experience for scientistsRelevant DegreeExperience in the formulation of coatings or other relevant chemical productsIf this sounds like you and you're ready to join a fast-growing, leading company, please click apply or contact us through our company website, extension number 3348 and ask for Kaspar or connect with me at https://www.linkedin.com/in/kaspar-stewart-202586198/
