• Within the Bostik Shared Services - Digital & Marketing Communications Team
• The role has no direct reports
  
  Job Dimensions
  
  • The Marketing Communications Generalist will work closely with the Marketing Communications Team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that will build a best in class experience for our customers.
  • They will support a growing team with outward facing marketing efforts focused on customer experience.Activities include supporting tradeshow management, the creation of promotional materials, project management and sales enablement.
  • The Marketing Communications Generalist will support eight focused market teams across the three Industrial Adhesives business units as part of a Shared Services organization.
    
    Activities
    
    • Engaging in various forms and combinations of content creation, design, event and marketing strategy to promote our products through digital and direct channels
    • Coordination of the design and distribution of promotional materials
    • Create and manage project plans for marketing communications projects ensuring alignment of resources to established goals and objectives
    • Support coordination of tradeshows including planning, logistics and execution.On-site support of larger tradeshows to ensure effective execution.
    • Support customer-facing events including external trainings and open houses.
    • Support graphic design of labels and other documents (such as PowerPoint presentations for external use)
    • Gathering feedback for continuous improvement of our marketing support
    • Tracking ROI for measuring effectiveness of marketing initiatives
    • Perform limited administrative duties as required including invoice processing and budget tracking.
      
      Context and Environment
      
      The job involves working with internal and external teams to provide overall marketing support for business goals.The Marketing Communications Generalist must be able to work autonomously as well as cross-functionally within a global, matrixed environment.They must have strong project management skills and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

        Qualifications / Experience Required
        
        • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, marketing or graphics related field
        • At least 2 years of marketing communications experience
        • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
        • Adobe Suites experience (Photoshop, InDesign, PremierePro (or similar software)) ideal
        • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
        • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
        • Ability to meet deadlines, while managing multiple projects
        • A self-starter that can adapt quickly to changes and re-setting of priorities
        • Must show the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
        • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time
