The Sr. Credit and Collections Representative will report to the Credit and Collections Manager and is a member of the Finance Shared Services team. JOB DIMENSIONS The position will work closely with internal and external customers to review credit terms, credit limits and managing A/R balances as well as customer dispute resolution. KEY ACTIVITIES

• Manage A/R portfolio to minimize bad debt write-offs and past due amounts.
• Communicate effectively with customers, operations, sales, finance, and logistics personnel. Works in coordination with shared services team on customer account adjustments. Utilize technologies to effectively manage portfolio. Support any other initiatives as requested to meet divisional goals and objectives. Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

ACCOUNTABILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Provide excellent and timely service to internal and external customers. Utilize analytical tools to gather data, to analyse and to report information regarding credit worthiness and AR balances to management
  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working in accounts receivable, credit, inside sales, or production planning ideally within a manufacturing or consumer business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (second language valued Spanish/French desirable).
  • Demonstrated competency in planning, time management, project management, analytics, problem solving and goal setting.
  • Strong, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Team orientation.
  • Self-motivated with a high-level work ethic; holds self-accountable and responsible. Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management and communication skills. Operates with integrity and high degree of confidentiality with intellectual property, technology and other confidential information/knowledge acquired in position. Demonstrates proactive interest and ability in solving problems and best ways to approach tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MRP/ERP systems -- SAP and High Radius experience is a big plus.
