Mayville, Inc.OverviewMetalcraft is looking to hire a IT Support
Specialist, to perform analytical, technical, and administrative
work in the planning and installation of new and existing personal
devices and workstations; diagnoses and resolves problems in
response to customer reported incidents; confers with end users to
determine types of hardware and software required; installs new
hardware and software and maintains existing components; trains end
users in the use of equipment and software; performs general
maintenance tasks; troubleshoots and resolves issues with user
devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the
organization; evaluates products for compatibility, expandability,
and ease of use and support; recommends to management the support
or nonsupport of evaluated products.ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier I
and Tier II customer service and technical support to end-users for
hardware and software.Diagnose, research, and resolve routine
end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and
troubleshooting; escalate as necessary.Install, configure, and test
installed hardware and software on new or existing devices, in
accordance with standard procedures.Set up new equipment and
devices; set up and maintain workstations; provide appropriate
access to applications, systems, and data.Replace equipment that
has reached the end of its warranty or lifecycle.Assist in the
tracking of hardware and software products.Experience with
Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPO
administration.Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365,
Exchange Online email deliverability issues, anti-spam
solutions.May review and evaluate new computer hardware and
software products.Propose system improvements, new software, and
any projects, which will move the company forward.Communicate and
translate technical information to non-technical end users;
maintain communication and monitor incident through
resolution.Train end-users on new devices and technologies.Support
multiple locations and off-hours when needed.Strong attention to
detail, documentation, communication skills and
follow-through.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability
to work effectively under pressure.QualificationsAn Associate's
Degree or higher in IT or equivalent work experience is required.A
minimum of 1 year experience in IT overall.Excellent team
player.Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft
platforms.Experience with Microsoft O365.Cisco knowledge and
experience preferred but not mandatory.Experience in a
manufacturing environment a plus but not mandatory. PM17 Metalcraft
