TITLE: Commissary Clerk DEPARTMENT: Commissary
STATUS: PT/FT,Clerk, Union, Hourly REPORTS TO: Commissary Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Toensure the highest level of service possible to Outpost's internal and externalcustomers. To wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes. Clean department,equipment, and work areas while adhering to all sanitation standards. To aid inpre-packing of Outpost products.
WORKENVIRONMENT: Fast paced dishroom andkitchen. Work near moving mechanical parts (i.e. dishwasher, disposal, mixers,oven, etc.) and in cold/hot working conditions (i.e. cooler or near stove).Ability to work in moderate and loud noise environments including, but notlimited to: paging, human voices, and machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Customer Service

• Treat people fairly, consistently, and with respect.
• Ensure efficient, informative, and friendly service according to established customer service vision and standards. 2. Department Responsibilities
  a. Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes andutensils in accordance with established dishwashing procedures.
  b. Return all cleaned dishes and utensils toassigned place.
  c. At end of shift thoroughly scrub and sanitizeoutside of dish machine, dish machine filters, counter tops, and walls. Mopfloor and take out garbage.
  d. Ensure all areas of the storage and dish roomare in clean, orderly condition.
  e. Complete all other cleaning tasks as assigned bydepartment manager or supervisory staff.
  f. Portion, package, and label product.
  g. Prep ingredients that do not require use ofknife for department production.
  h. Stock department orders timely and in the properlocation.
  i. Assist with department record keeping.
  j. Assist in training department staff.
  k. Practice established safety and sanitationprocedures for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and other food contactsurfaces.
  l. Follow safety guidelines in regards to lifting,knife handling, equipment operation, etc.
  m. Attend department meetings as scheduled.
  3. All Staff Duties
  • Abide by all Co-op policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company documents.
  • Keep store orderly and clean.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or supervisory staff.

          • Specific vision ability: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
          • Ability to climb up and down step stools
