To continue our growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Communications & Event Assistant at our Corporate office in Milwaukee, WI. Job Description: This position will encompass executive assistant, meeting/event coordinator and corporate communications assistant responsibilities. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this new role will serve the admin needs of the CEO and CMO, helping to coordinate meeting details, appearances and communication needs specifically. As required, this role will also assist with event coordination at the Global Headquarters, and support the Corporate Communications department with tracking, coordinating, and creating appropriate internal and external messaging. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To execute this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Coordinates CEO calendar and some correspondence including logistics of visits, appearances, meetings, and events where the CEO and/or Director of Corporate Communications will be present. Provides daily admin support for CEO, CMO and Director of Corporate Communications Assists with creating/updating presentations and other communication pieces as directed. Organizes and keeps track of all corporate communication content posted or shared with employees and the media. Assists with corporate events at the HQ Campus and other major locations by coordinating communication, materials, timing, dates, vendors, and volunteers to assure success. Works with HQ Office Services, Culinary and Building Services to help organize internal meeting requests, track key dates and handle other needs for large and small events plus visiting employee groups coming to the HQ Campus. Draft, edit and proofread communications that will be seen by employees and the media relating to the work of Corporate Communications. Required Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Executive Administration and/or Corporate Communications. Some meeting coordination experience required. KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS: This individual is highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with ease. High comfort level with technology and has a solid understanding of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good writing and proofreading skills are important as well as familiarity with different communication channels including social media, email, presentations and reports. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a high standard for quality and maintaining confidentiality are very important.
