Job Responsibilities:Program Support Specialist BAKARI YOUTH
RESIDENTIAL CARE CENTERWISCONSIN COMMUNITY SERVICES Put your

overcome adversity. This position is located in a residential
treatment center for youth. The right candidate will be comfortable
working and interacting with youth, passionate about the WCS
mission, and show sensitivity towards cultural, ethnic, and
disability needs.Because this is a key administrative support
position, individuals who are successful in the Program Support
Specialist role will have at least a high school diploma and two
years of customer service or clerical experience. The on-going
computer-based support work performed in this position requires a
candidate who has excellent verbal and written communication
skills, along with strong computer skills (including Word, Excel,
and database programs). Demonstrating skill in detail work and
utilizing analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
are also necessary to perform the compliance-oriented tasks of the
position. While upholding and promoting a positive culture for
youth and staff, this key position assists and supports the daily
operation of the residential care center through a variety of
clerical and administrative support functions in the following
way:
- Welcoming all guests by answering the front door to admit
staff, the youth that we serve, their caregivers, family members,
human services workers, and other involved professionals.
- Routinely and frequently providing clerical support to the
Bakari Center Team. This includes supporting quality assurance
functions by maintaining staff files, resident files, and building
compliance. This position also develops tracking and monitoring
systems to monitor compliance and add efficiencies to center's
operations.
- Developing and completing reports and accessing data are key
functions of the position. This includes updating and monitoring
records in an online database as well as supporting residential
care staff in printing and obtaining records, auditing records, and
orientating staff to the database.
- As needed or in accordance with a schedule, this position is
responsible for ordering all supplies for Bakari Center including,
but not limited to; food, basic youth needs (clothes, hygiene,
etc.), cleaning supplies, office supplies, and all other supplies
needed for a 24-hour resident care center.
- Maintaining a pleasant and safe atmosphere for the youth we
serve. You will monitor building cleanliness (including common
areas, resident rooms, and exterior of building) create and monitor
a repair list and ensure organization within the center through
daily checklists. This position also provides support by scheduling
building repairs and communication the schedule with facilities
team. This position monitors and schedules contracted cleaning
company.
- Providing administrative support during the hiring process by
scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, printing interview
packets, and completing new hire forms. Schedule training and enter
staff training records in online training database.
- Assisting Clinicians as needed in scheduling appointments and
providing follow up and working closely with the Quality Support
Specialist to complete youth schedules, and coordinate and develop
youth activities. Due to the nature of the position, this position
may require sitting at a desk and/or computer for two or more hours
at a time and requires significant computer work. A flexible work
schedule may be required due to the 24/7 nature of the residential
youth treatment center. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

community to agencies and residences, additional qualifications for
this position include a valid driver's license, automobile, and

Job Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This person
must have exceptional customer service and clerical skills. Must
possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills, along
with strong computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Excel, and
database applications. Requires being good at detail work and
utilizing analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to
multitask, organize, and assist others to implement procedures and
practices. Must be sensitive to cultural, ethnic, and disability
issues. Minimal Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years minimum of clerical or customer service
experience.
- Strong computer skills including typing and ability to use
Microsoft programs, databases, etc.
- Advanced organization skills.
- Ability to display cultural competence by responding
respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, languages,
classes, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions and other diversity
factors in a manner that recognizes, affirms and values the worth
of clients.
- Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to
meet agency requirements.
- Meet all the employee requirements including references,
criminal background check, drug test, and driver's license check.

- Greet all guests entering Bakar Center including but not
limited to; youth, caregivers, family members, human services
workers, and professionals.
- Provide clerical support to the Bakari Center Team.

- Support staff remain in compliance with all WCS policies and
procedures.
- Develop tracking and monitoring systems to monitor compliance
and add efficiencies to center's operations.
- Uphold and promote a positive and supportive culture for youth
and staff.
- Maintain client confidentiality within all written and verbal
communications
- Adhere to state licensing requirements.
- Adhere to WCS Policies and Procedures.

Reports directly to the Program Manager and works closely with the
Program Director and Program Manager. Interacts with all staff at
