  • Maintain daily goals and deadlines consistent with department standards.
  • Perform general clerical duties (i.e. copy, fax, file, sort correspondence).
  • Communicate with vendors to facilitate mail-based projects with firm deadlines.
  • Preparing and mailing letters.
  • Scanning and attaching documents in multiple systems.
  • Review financial and legal documents for accuracy or errors
  • Data entry in multiple systems.
  • Prepare transfer documentation according to transfer agency requirements.
  • Research, follow up and resolve accounts for which incomplete paperwork has been presented.
  • Manage and resolve email inquiries from clients, account executives and other operational teams in a timely manner.
  • Expected to cross-train on other functions and responsibilities within the group to provide backup as necessary.
  • Pick up and drop off mail at several courier locations each day (local USPS post office, FedEx, UPS, etc.).Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
    • Ability to work independently / as team member with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work closely with groups or team members in multiple locations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize daily work to meet challenging demands.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle due to duties of pick up and drop off mail at courier locations.
    • Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English.
    • May require the need to travel to other locations.
    • Willing and able to work extended hours as needed.Education requirements
      • BA/BS degree is preferred
      • Financial services and/or securities industry experienceExperience requirements
        • Experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
        • Experience with guidelines of financial institutions related to distribution of assets
