Clearance Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist for a Full-Time Fully Remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform benefit verification of patient insurance plans and document coverage details
Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification
Initiate, follow-up, and secure prior authorizations for medications and infusion services

Required Qualifications:

At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy experience
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
Ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word
