- Job Details
- Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
- Interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors.
- Acts as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues.
- Demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
- Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room equipment, supplies and medications.
- Maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
- Other duties as assigned.
  - Job Requirements
  - Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection.
  - Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required.
