Job Description:

Senior Business Analysts are responsible for interfacing with our clients to define business requirements, work with a technical team to design solutions, and execute the quality assurance and delivery of each solution. This client-facing position will be an integral part of a growing sector in our business, and will play a key role in a variety of projects. Within our organization, Senior Business Analysts are integral members of the solution delivery team, working very closely with the Clients, Product Owners and the Development team to ensure the delivery of a solution that is aligned to the business needs and goals. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent working history with business areas to discover and develop functional and technical requirements for custom application development or business intelligence projects for large custom development initiatives.
• Ability to develop and document project estimates and assist in budget development.
• Strong working history of being a key contributor in a Business Analyst role on several robust (10 or more sprints, or project longer than 6 months) greenfield development initiatives.
• Experience utilizing multiple elicitation processes to document, verify and confirm development requirements.
• Strong background in aligning functional requirements to technical solutions.
• Substantial knowledge of use cases development and requirements documentation skills.
• Understanding and appreciation for the core role quality assurance plays in the Business Analysis process.
• Strong experience in developing test plans and scripts.
• Exhibited history in performing requirements gathering and elicitation skills using a variety of methods.
• Outstanding leadership and facilitation capabilities.
• Experience using a project management methodology a plus such as Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe.
• Thorough technical knowledge to enable the development of technical diagrams and source to data maps.
• Strong background in developing user stories, documentation of happy path and acceptance criteria.
• Superior communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Project Management tenants.
• Experience working with a variety of source control tools such as TFS, JIRA or Subversion. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of an Associated Degree, but a Bachelor's is desired.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner or other agile based certifications is a plus. REQUIREMENTS
    • A minimum of ten years overall information technology experience with at least seven years of increased responsibilities within the role of a Business Analyst.
    • Work history with accountability for the elicitation of functional and high level technical requirements in the focus of greenfield software development (new development). Senior Business Analysts should possess strong industry domain knowledge in one of the following areas: Healthcare, Financial, Consumer Products or Government, in addition to technical knowledge in the areas of custom application/software product development or Business Intelligence/Information Management.
